Enrolment
We are currently taking enrolments for 2026 & 2027 and accept enrolment applications for students in all year levels. You can submit a request at any time in the school year.

Sending a child to a new school is a big deal in both their life and yours, so we would encourage you to come and experience firsthand everything Wonthaggi North Primary School has to offer.
To Enrol at Wonthaggi North Primary School - 2027 Foundation (Prep) enrolments
Our school uses the Department of Education’s secure digital enrolment system called VicStudents. This means you can submit your Foundation (Prep) application online and receive updates through the system. If you have any questions about the online enrolment process, please contact our school on 03 5672 4697.
To get started
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2027 at Wonthaggi North Primary School from Monday 20 April 2026.
- Visit https://students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ sign in with a Service Victoria account to complete the online application form by Friday 31 July 2026. If you would prefer to submit a paper application form, please contact us.
- We will then review the information submitted and be in contact with you between Monday 3 August and Friday 14 August 2026 (for applications submitted by the due date of 31 July 2026).
- You should accept one enrolment offer by Friday 28 August 2026. When accepting an offer, you will be required to provide additional personal and health information that will be shared with the school.

Our school zone
Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.
Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

You will also be required to provide further information about:
- Evidence of identity and date of birth (for example, a birth certificate or passport)
- Immunisation Status certificate
- your contact details
- emergency contact details
- health information about your child (such as allergies or illnesses they need to manage)
- other legal orders relating to your child and their welfare (if any)
Parent payments
Under the Department of Education and Training’s Parent Payments Policy, Victorian government schools are required to provide transparent information to their school community on voluntary parent/carer contributions. This 2025 Parent Payment outlines the voluntary parent/carer contributions at our school.
Uniform
We are very proud to be working in partnership with State Schools’ Relief as our uniform suppliers. You can purchase our uniform online through State Schools’ Relief. This wonderful organisation is a not for profit that supports disadvantaged students across Victoria. Purchasing from them means another child in Victoria who is experiencing hardship is able to get support with various items for school.
